The Challenge…

A major Nutriceutical company needed more reliable data for their inventory of product. The sensors they were using were continuously out of calibration. Time was spent recalibrating each sensor, and still the confidence was low as plant personnel read the inventory numbers. Anderson Instrument Company provided a level sensor that fit into the existing shell, eliminating timely wiring, and installation costs. The result…reliable, accurate readings, and a renewed confidence in inventory management.

The Solution…

Anderson Instrument Company’s SL model “driftless” level transmitter is designed to provide continuous readings in harsh environments of tank levels from as small as 30”, to silos over 90’ in height. It is temperature compensated from a range of 0-250°F so CIP cycles aren’t an issue. With our secondary diaphragm venting to atmosphere, the electronics are sealed from water and condensation. The unit has a one-touch re-zero feature eliminating timely and costly calibration methods and service contracts.

“Anderson’s level sensors have given us freedom from the anxiety of unreliable inventory data. They provide units that easily replaced legacy sensors that provide superior accuracy and stability! The calibration and setup were so streamlined it truly minimized installation time. ... definitely High Tech and State of the Art! We are very pleased with the results.”
