In addition, the EP, EN-series are available with 2 optional, adjustable setpoint, alarm/control relays. Compared to the mechanical IPS-series, this programmable model provides a digital display of the actual setpoint, and a simple means of adjusting it, eliminating the need for a pressure source during installation and set-up.
VAT Pasteurization Package Released!
We are pleased to announce the availability of a new controls package for VAT (Batch) Pasteurizers. Electronic dual element sensors have replaced the obsolete mercury in glass thermometers. These sensors provide an on-board display, as well as wire back to a traditional circular chart recorder to create the legal record.
This “combination concept” was approved at the 2005 National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments (NCIMS).
New ELH Homogenizer Gauge and Pressure Transmitter Released!
We are pleased to announce the availability of our newest gauge and pressure transmitter. The ELH has been specifically designed to meet the needs of late model Homogenizers. It is available with all the common industry standard high pressure fittings and direct and remote (panel mount) configurations. For the first time an integrated transmitter is also optional making the ELH not only a great fit new homogenizers, it will accommodate the old ones too. Being an Anderson dairy, food & beverage product it is not just a sanitary design, it is a rugged piece built to withstand the rigors of dairy and beverage processing. Heavy mechanical damping, standard glycerin fill and fully potted and sealed electronics allow this gauge to thrive in high pressure, high vibration homogenizer service environment. Finally Anderson’s short lead times and knowledgeable tech service will make the ELH the gauge of choice for homogenizer service.
New Technology Continuous Level Transmitter!
The LN broadens Anderson’s range of level solutions. Designed with process control in mind, the LN is ideal for Filler Bowls, Balance tanks, and pressurized vessels. Immune to pressure or temperature changes, the LN excels in applications where pressure based sensors come up short.
As with all Anderson sensors the LN is third party 3-A approved and comes with a one-year warranty.
New HH Compact Sanitary Transmitter Released!
We are pleased to announce the availability of our newest ultra compact style pressure transmitter. The HH has been specifically designed to meet the needs of OEMs and integrators servicing beverage, dairy and food processing facilities. A 3-A compliant design the HH is the lowest profile sanitary transmitter in the market. Within the rugged welded stainless steel enclosure are fully potted and sealed electronics. NEMA 4X and IP66/67 ratings assure long dependable life in the wettest of applications. For users needing to replace OEM supplied transmitters, the HH offers an economical upgrade to a truly rugged and sanitary transmitter.
Newest Point Level Sensor Now 3-A Third Party Approved!
Conductivity point level now achieves 3-A approval even after field trimming. Our patented Teflon® coated probe seal now allows for field trimming of up to 6” while retaining sealed, “CIP”able probes. The LB provides up to four independent level points with probe lengths to 72”. Paired with the “LL” switching module, the point level system allows choices of normally open or closed contacts and accommodates a broad variety of conductive media.

NEW DTG – Digital Temperature Gauge for Retort Applications Released!
We are pleased to announce the availability of a new electronic temperature gauge for Retort applications. This device has been designed to comply with regulations governing the Retort process, and can function as a direct replacement for existing mercury-in-glass thermometers. The battery operated unit is available in direct or remote mounting, and provides a large LCD display for process temperature viewing. The dual RTD sensing elements provide internal error checking, and numerous fitting choices allow easy specification of existing MIG replacements.
Capacitance Point Level Solves Difficult Level Applications!
Anderson introduces the LS capacitance point level to meet the challenging requirements of low conductivity or foamy and viscous media and for those applications needing minimally invasive sensors. The LS’s capacitance technology excels in low conductivity media such as liquid sugars and even R.O. water! Short insertion not only allows use in vessels where space is at a premium, but also accommodates use in pipes to monitor media.
New DAC-341 Ceramic Pressure Transmitter
We are pleased to announce availability of our new DAC-341 Series compact style pressure transmitter – specifically and uniquely designed for economical and reliable operation in Beverage, Food, Brewing and other NON 3A applications. Meeting European EHEDG requirements, the DAC-341 is ideal for OEM and integrator needs such as CIP and blending skids. Optional LCD display provides convenient local indication eliminating the need for additional instrumentation.
New HMP Turbine Flowmeter for the Life Sciences
Based on the proven design of the HM turbine meter, the HMP satisfies the specific design and performance requirements of Life Sciences applications. The HMP uses a bushing and shaft combination which makes the HMP suitable for intense sterilization processes and allows for steam blow down. The HMP is designed in accordance with the current ASME BPE flowmeter standard and is provided with necessary certifications and calibration documentation.
Improved Autoclaveable HA raises the bar for Accuracy and Stability.
Improvements in enclosure integrity and transmitter design have yielded improvements in both accuracy and long term stability. Users may now expect more than 30 autoclave cycles or 6 months before recalibration is necessary and enjoy an overall accuracy of 0.4% of full scale.
Firmware update for EP & EN Digital Pressure Gauges
Anderson is making available a firmware update for the EP and EN line of digital pressure gauges and switches. This firmware enhances our battery power management systems. In addition to installing the latest firmware, Anderson factory technicians will inspect and recalibrate your gauge. EP series will be issued new calibration certifications, and all gauges will be given an additional 12 month warranty. HART communications now available on SL
The latest update to Anderson’s “Superior Level” SL transmitter includes availability of HART communications protocol, an option for a 90 elbow quick disconnect and a refreshing of the electronics making this the most capable, broadest application range SL ever offered. The SL, primarily designed to survive the challenging environments found in Dairies and liquid food processing, provides proven accurate level measurement and long life. Featuring the industries only dual diaphragm design, combined with M12 wiring quick disconnect yield the only fully sealed housing available. Fully warranted for two years, the SL is the best answer to sanitary level measurement in wet environments.
