New MPF Modular Pressure Transmitter launched for sale
Unique among sanitary pressure transmitters the MPF offers more than top performance. A new concept of a fully modular design reduces cost of ownership. Universal configurable components may be inventoried as critical spares rather than costly complete transmitters. A simple interface allows you to quickly configure pressure ranges, and separable body components accommodate changes to enclosure orientation to best meet application needs.
Of course no Anderson transmitter is complete without the durability and environmental immunity we are known for. Rugged heavy duty stainless enclosures are now combined with a patent pending dual seal connections that take enclosure integrity to another level beyond NEMA 4X. While the MPF is not designed for submerged applications, the enclosure seals would withstand them.

Anderson Instrument Company Offers CFR Instrumentation for Pasteurization of Eggs
Anderson Instrument, a leader in regulatory pasteurization controls and sanitary grade instruments for food, dairy and beverage production offers a full line of instrumentation for egg processing and pasteurization.
"All of our pasteurization controls are used extensively throughout the dairy industry, as well as in other areas such as juice, eggs and fluid foods", says Regulatory Products Manager, Gary Ratajczak at Anderson. "Each of our regulatory instruments for pasteurization carries an FDA milk safety acceptance memorandum for use under the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO), and has direct application for pasteurization of egg products."
Food Safety
Many processors are making improvements in Food Safety practices throughout their production facilities. Anderson offers a full range of sanitary grade equipment to aid customers in this challenge.
"We recently looked to add a temperature recorder on our egg bath as part of our continuous improvement program under SQF," commented the VP of Quality Assurance at a hardboiled egg producer in the south east. "I contacted Anderson based upon my previous use of their instrumentation in the dairy industry. They supplied a temperature sensor and chart recorder for my application as well as on-site start up assistance."
CFR Regulatory Compliance
Improvements in food safety practices by processors will often accompany an increased regulatory requirement for record keeping and documentation and of a format acceptable to regulators. Anderson temperature recorders have a wide selection of charts that are readily accepted by regulators for compliance and record keeping of critical process temperatures.
