The DTG has been designed as a replacement for mercury-in-glass or bi-metal thermometers in typical Food, Dairy and Beverage applications. The unit provides a battery-powered local display of temperature, visible on a large 0.9" LCD display. Numerous fitting choices ensure simple transition from existing thermometers to the DTG. Optional secondary temperature element, switching/alarming and remote display are also now available. Switching versions can also be "loop-powered" to eliminate the need for batteries. Form AIC 5055:

The unit provides a battery-powered local display of temperature, visible on a large 0.9" LCD display. Numerous fitting choices ensure simple transition from existing mercury-in-glass thermometers to the DTG. Supplied pre-calibrated, with up to five custom user points available to allow on-site calibration. For difficult to read areas, a remote mount display is also available. This device fully complies with the Code of Federal Regulations document 21CFR113.4, covering the production of Low Acid Canned Foods. Form AIC 5052:
